Fairypools Before the Storm

After what was supposed to be a short 20-minute hike turned into a nearly two-hour trek, we didn’t find what we set out for—the famed Fairypools—but the journey was worth it! On our way back down the mountain, we were rewarded with this breathtaking view, a perfect reminder that sometimes the best moments come from the unexpected. Photo © copyright by Stephen Carter.
